Cyber Security - so important they've made a TV show about it.

Yellowspring doesn’t normally shamelessly plug upcoming US TV shows – but in this instance, we’ve made an exception.

In January 2015 CSI:Cyber is due to air – a spin off of the popular series Crime Scene Investigation.

The show revolves around Special Agent Avery Ryan (played by Patricia Arquette), who is in charge of the Cyber Crime Division.  The show follows her team of crack Cyber Security professionals and law enforcers, whose job is to respond and investigate businesses and individuals, who have been the victims of serious cyber crime, identity fraud, hacking and general misdemeanors involving the manipulation of technology.

It has got us all hooked in anticipation!

But away from the glamour and the cameras – there is a more serious message – one that doesn’t just effect the rich and famous.

Cyber crime can affect any business, if the appropriate security measures are not put in place.  More importantly, security measures that are up to date, robust and are tested on a regular basis.

Yellowspring are actively encouraging all businesses to review their IT security – to penetration test their firewalls, to check security licence renewals and to ensure that they have a future proof strategy in place, to safe-guard their business against all forms of basic cyber crime.  We can help you with this – independently and cost-effectively.

Contact our offices today to speak to Maria West on 01268 494100 (or email maria.west@yellowspring.co.uk) and arrange for one of our Cyber Crime Division agents to come in and see you soon…
